WHY MUCUMU
Marcel Mikulina is the co-founder, perfumeur and the person in charge of customized projects. Product development is so far exclusively under his direction. He originally started in the cosmetics industry as a manufacturer of solid bar soaps in the original way back in 2018. As time went on, so did the demands of clients. He and Michal Hudcovic founded MUCUMU in 2022. The company is innovative in creating new recipes, fragrances and designs. MUCUMU has a focus on systems and progressively improving process efficiency and communication. MUCUMU’s mission statement is: To create fragrance and body products so perfect that when people use them, time stops and they say to themselves: “This is paradise”. From this, we derive the company’s values, which we apply in our daily communication, production, development, designs and all other aspects. At MUCUMU you always get more, at MUCUMU we always go the extra mile.
INGREDIENTS
Quality is of paramount importance to us. In order to be able to deliver the highest quality final products, we need to use the highest quality ingredients available on the market. Always with the client’s requirements in mind. The ingredients we use have ECOCERT, COSMOS certifications, are not tested on animals and are sourced in ethical ways. We have dozens of active ingredients on offer. We can modify a recipe to your exact requirements or create completely new recipes from scratch.
We source ingredients locally as well as from around the world. We are always educating ourselves and taking certified courses in cosmetics and fragrance products. We can handle even very challenging recipes at first glance. We love to create and we love a challenge. Because they are the only ones that move us and you forward.
FRAGRANCES
Creating fragrances is our specialty and a matter of the heart. We believe that every company deserves its own fragrance. Scent is commonly considered the second strongest sense. The right fragrance can create positive feelings, as proven by many academic studies. The right scent in an office, reception or shop can increase the success rate of a business meeting by 20-40% and the time spent in the space by around 30%. These are very interesting numbers that can be realistically applied in any business. In the hospitality industry, the right fragrance can improve the rating of a stay by 15 – 25%.

We pay attention to the quality of the packaging materials. Whether it is different types of plastic, metal or glass. We need the cosmetic products to be as presentable and timeless as possible, but at the same time keeping up with current trends.
The outer packaging is just as important. We can customize the design thanks to the talented designers we work with. And thanks to modern and innovative printing companies.

We have production in Brezova pod Bradlom in western Slovakia. We handle most things via courier companies, but we are happy to arrange a personal meeting. We are happy to deliver the goods in person if possible.
